Telling Time

...'big' style

After listening to 'The 12 Days of Christmas', the children figured out the number of gifts received after twelve days.  We did not re-count items, just added one gift for day one; two gifts for day two; three gifts for day three; and so on.

There was some GREAT thinking going on as the children devised their own ways to get the answer.
